Ulumbu Hot Spring

Ulumbu covers an immense area with warm grounds, boiling water flowing from different small caves. Massive steam pillars rising from fumarols and vapors  dominating the scenery of the geothermal field which creates a scene of particular natural  attraction. The geothermal field is considered a promising energy  resource and a geothermal power plant operates there. Some spots in the area are extremely hot and there is a danger of landslides ; please ask local people for guidance.

How to get there : 
Drive from Ruteng towards Golo Lusang , proceed  toIteng and Wewo village and make a turn at  Pong Geok junction toward Ulumbu. The distance is approximately + 26,5 km.
